My friend.

Here is a picture I took this morning just before we left for meeting. Hunter was hanging around Peanut this morning and kept saying, "Peanut my friend, is she?!"
This afternoon Hunter got to go for a few rides on Uncle Todd and Auntie Amy's jet ski! He loved it! Didn't want to go back to the dock. Sorry no pictures of that, grampa has them.

This week...

Well this week started out with Hunter's third birthday on Sunday. As you can see from the pictures from the last post, he had a pretty good time at his party. His favorite present was the "big" bike that Uncle Daryl, Jonathon and Alex brought. Hunter and I have been going for "trips" he calls them everyday this week so far. Monday was Memorial day. We just hung out around here. Jeff took Hunter to Walmart to get training wheels for his new bike. Then we went out for supper. After supper I went to a decorating party and Jeff and Hunter went to Grammers to ride bike. Tuesday after lunch Hunter and I went for a "trip". Hunter rides his bike and I walk/jog beside him for about a mile. We end up at a park and play for a little while then go back home. Yesterday we met Auntie Amy at Costco in the morning and then went out for lunch with her. After lunch we went home and on another "trip". Today Hunter and I went to a few discount stores to find books for him. Then he came to the dentist office with me. After lunch went for a pretty short "trip". For some reason he wasn't feeling very confident on his bike today so didn't want to go too far. Hunter has been kind of off all day today. Not sure what is going on. We ended up doing the cold turkey method for potty training. We started it about 6 days ago and starting on Monday he was doing really well. He went 3 days with no wet accidents! Yesterday he even went poo on the toilet, at a restaurant no less. But today is another story. He has had 2 accidents and poo in his pants, and it is only noon! The first accident was at the dentist office in the exam room, of course. Had went just before we went into the dentist office even. So like I said he has been off today.
Tonight he is suppose to go to Grammers house for the night and then all day tomorrow since I work. Then hopefully the night again tomorrow. Will see how it goes.

Hunter's birthday!

Here are just a few pictures from Hunter's birthday yesterday. It was nice that Grampa Bruce and Grammers Judy got to participate via Instant Messenger video call. Hunter had Grammers Lois running around the back yard before everyone got here. Then later after he got his new bike he had Grampa Tim and Grammers Lois and dad all running him around the yard. It doesn't have training wheels on it yet, as you can see. Enjoy the pictures!

Here are some more random pictures that I have taken in the last week. Some of Hunter splashing around in the tub last week. Two of him drawing on the deck steps in sand. The last ones of him swinging. Hunter has been enjoying the outdoors recently, as have I.

a lion daisy

This morning Hunter went outside to play. He picked a flower and brought it up to me. He called it a lion daisy. Here is a picture of it. For those of you who can't tell, it's a dandelion.

Here are some new pictures from the past few days. There is one of Hunter on his new water ski training board. One of him playing with a flag today outside and then two of him sitting quietly looking at a book all by himself! One of those rare moments when he is sitting! :) He also played contently in his sandbox for quite awhile both yesterday at "grammers" and today at home. So think that may be a sign he is growing up and getting closer to being ready for preschool. Now we just have to master, or rather do the potty training bit. Groan!

Been awhile

Guess it has been awhile since I have done anything on here! Over a week, wow! This past weekend we went camping for a couple of days. Hunter loved it! Of course. He played outside for 2 full days in the nice warm weather. Rode his bike and 4 wheeler all over, on the road and everywhere. I brought my camera, but as some of you know, I am bad about actually carrying it with me and taking pictures. So don't have any to share. I do have some from just the last couple of days though. Monday Hunter and I were suppose to go to a play date. We missed it though. Hunter caught up on sleep instead. He also was getting a cold. So hopefully next time we will be able to go.
Today Hunter and I went grocery shopping and then to the mall. Got Jeff a couple of shirts for $5 at Sears and then me a couple of shirts from JCPenny's. Hunter was a good shopper, so got a cookie at the coffee shop in the mall. The name of it is Thomas Hammer and they have shortbread cookies with a hammer intention. They are one of Hunter's favorite cookies. So when we are at the mall and if he is a good boy he gets one. He calls them hammer cookies. Then this afternoon I made a 3 layered carrot cake. It was in our newspaper. Will frost it tomorrow and let you know how it taste! :) The frosting is cream cheese frosting with melted white chocolate chips in it.
The pictures I am including are of Hunter in his fort that dad build him on Monday in the living room, and then of him going on his road that we build from the same foam tiles that the fort were made with. Then the other one is of Hunter last night writing on paper. He would make lines and count them as he made them on the paper. Then one of Hunter "walking" Peanut today.
